These pictures were taken during my visit to Tunis, Tunisia on assignment with the World Health Organization. Tunis has a long history starring the Phoenecians and the Romans. It was known as Carthage in those times. Just outside Carthage lies the whitewashed hilltop town of Sidi Bou Said.
